Horizontal Fiber Optic Splice Closure

Horizontal Fiber Optic Splice Closure

Horizontal Fiber Optic Splice Closure protects optical cable joints, splice storage and route branching in a Polymer-modified plastic enclosure for maintainable fiber-network deployment.

Product Features

  • 474 × 200 × 105 mm polymer-modified plastic body.
  • Four ports sealing 10–18 mm cables.
  • Three 24-core trays; maximum 72 single fibers.
  • Nut-compression seals and IP68 mechanical enclosure sealing.

The Horizontal Fiber Optic Splice Closure supports a conventional two-in/two-out splice point in aerial or duct routes. Its integrated cable and strength-member fixing arrangement reserves the interior for fiber storage and tray access.

Selection & Configuration

Confirm cable preparation lengths and port allocation before setting tray positions. Review aerial brackets or duct support separately from the supplied accessory list, and preserve access to the compression nuts.

Manufacturing & Customization

Huijue Group can review OEM horizontal closures, private-label traceability and samples/drawings defining cable fixation. Tooling, seal feasibility, installation tests, quantities and delivery scope require approval.

Applications

Seventy-two-fiber straight-through and planned branch splices along aerial or duct cable routes.

Installation Notes

Verify IP68 test conditions and cable diameter coverage for the selected compression parts; no separate buried-use approval is assumed.

Buyer Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers specific to Horizontal Fiber Optic Splice Closure selection, configuration and purchasing.

Does the seventy-two-core value include ribbon fibers?

It is stated as maximum single-fiber capacity. Confirm a separate tray arrangement for another fiber construction.

Are aerial brackets standard?

Aerial hardware appears as an optional kit. Identify the required mounting accessories in the order.

Can different cable diameters share the closure?

Check each port's selected compression seal against its cable diameter rather than assuming a single seal fits every cable.

Application planning

Where this product family fits

Use the deployment context to narrow the configuration before comparing dimensions, capacities and options.

Central offices and equipment rooms

Organize high-capacity termination, cross-connection and patching with defined service access.

Street and building distribution

Place splitter, terminal and distribution boxes at the correct feeder-to-drop transition.

Outside-plant splice points

Protect branching and splicing around cable entries, sealing, tray capacity and mounting method.

Network expansion

Reserve fibers, ports and internal routing space for staged subscriber or backbone growth.

Before quotation: confirm capacity, interfaces, installation environment, power conditions, quantity and required options.
