Pre-Terminated Indoor Butterfly Drop Cable

Pre-Terminated Indoor Butterfly Drop Cable

A compact indoor butterfly drop cable with factory-installed connectors at one or both ends for planned FTTH and in-building access routes.

Product Features

  • One-end or two-end factory connectorization.
  • Compact form for corridors, risers and subscriber pathways.
  • LSZH sheath in the listed indoor construction.
  • Designed for straightforward stripping and installation.
  • Length-based insertion- and return-loss limits support project acceptance planning.

Pre-Terminated Indoor Butterfly Drop Cable is a factory-assembled last-drop cable for indoor access routes. By defining the connector ends and cable length before production, installers can connect subscriber or distribution equipment without performing every connector termination inside the building.

The listed construction uses a compact butterfly profile, bend-capable reinforcement and a low-smoke, halogen-free sheath. Optical limits in the current data are organized by assembly length and UPC or APC return-loss requirement, making accurate route measurement an important ordering step.

Selection & Configuration

Confirm the route length with service allowance, fiber grade, connector type, UPC or APC polish, termination direction and whether one end must pass through a duct or wall opening. Also define the required jacket marking and packaging so assemblies can be identified at installation.

Manufacturing & Customization

Huijue Group can assess private-label or OEM indoor drop assemblies from an approved cable schedule, end-face map or physical sample. Custom length, connector combination and labeling are reviewed together; tolerance, test method, packaging, tooling and order quantity require confirmation.

Information for an Accurate Quotation

  • Fiber grade and core count
  • Connector and polish on each end
  • Finished and breakout lengths
  • Route constraints and pulling direction
  • Label sequence, test record and quantity

³ Return Loss (UPC) for pre-terminated butterfly drop cable with L > 200m: ≥ 40dB

⁴ Return Loss (APC) for pre-terminated butterfly drop cable with L > 200m: ≥ 40dB

Applications

  • FTTH subscriber connections
  • Apartment corridor and riser distribution
  • Indoor terminal-box to outlet links
  • Pre-measured office or small-business access drops

Installation Notes

Use the cable in an indoor pathway compatible with its LSZH construction. Maintain the specified bend radius, protect connector ends during pulling and provide a suitable transition if any section becomes exposed outdoors.

Buyer Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers specific to Pre-Terminated Indoor Butterfly Drop Cable selection, configuration and purchasing.

Why order a pre-terminated indoor drop cable?

It reduces field connector assembly when the route, end interfaces and length are known before installation.

Can UPC and APC connectors be mixed on one assembly?

A mixed end configuration can be reviewed from the end-to-end schedule, but the connector types and mating equipment must be explicitly confirmed.
