DIN Series Fiber Optic Patch Cords and Adapters

DIN Series Fiber Optic Patch Cords and Adapters

Metal DIN fiber patch cords and adapters with threaded locking, compact construction and PC, UPC or APC single-mode options.

Product Features

  • Threaded metal coupling for a secure connection.
  • Compact connector format with metal adapter housing.
  • PC, UPC and APC end-face options for single-mode assemblies.
  • Listed cable diameters include 0.9, 2 and 3 mm.
  • Current optical table separates multimode and single-mode performance.

DIN Series Fiber Optic Patch Cords and Adapters use a compact metal connector body and threaded locking for equipment or panel connections that require a positive mechanical coupling. Ceramic ferrules are available with PC, UPC and APC end-face formats, while the mating adapter uses a metal housing and ceramic alignment sleeve.

The series supports both single-mode and multimode configurations. Connector polish, fiber mode, cable diameter and the exact mating receptacle must be specified; DIN is not a substitute name for other threaded fiber interfaces.

Selection & Configuration

Confirm the mating DIN interface, fiber type, polish, cable outside diameter, length and whether a plug, adapter or complete patch assembly is required. The listed operating range is -40°C to 80°C; tensile requirements differ for 0.9 mm and jacketed cable constructions.

Manufacturing & Customization

Huijue Group can review drawing-based or sample-matched DIN patch cords with project-specific cable and private-label identification. Interface dimensions, polish process, material, test limits, tooling and volume require engineering sign-off.

Information for an Accurate Quotation

  • Mating DIN interface or sample
  • Fiber mode and connector polish
  • Cable diameter, jacket and length
  • Plug, adapter or full assembly quantity
  • Optical test and labeling requirements

Applications

  • Telecom equipment and panel interconnection
  • Industrial optical equipment
  • Threaded equipment-side fiber ports
  • Maintenance of installed DIN-interface networks

Installation Notes

Confirm that the metal threaded interface, cable jacket and strain relief match the actual site. Protect ceramic ferrules from contamination and avoid cross-threading during mating.

Buyer Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers specific to DIN Series Fiber Optic Patch Cords and Adapters selection, configuration and purchasing.

What keeps a DIN fiber connector engaged?

The series uses a threaded metal coupling rather than a push-pull latch.

Can APC polish be supplied?

APC is listed for the single-mode DIN series. The mating adapter and equipment port must use the same compatible geometry.

Can Huijue Group match an installed DIN port from a sample?

A sample can be reviewed, but production still requires dimensional and optical approval before the interface is confirmed.
