Passive optical distribution
Match splitter or WDM architecture to wavelength plan, ratio, package and insertion-loss targets.
A factory-built MPO fan-out harness that converts a high-density interface to individually managed LC, SC, FC or ST equipment connectors.
MPO Breakout Harness Cable to LC/SC/FC/ST transitions a parallel multi-fiber MPO interface into individual simplex or duplex equipment-side connections. It is used between trunks, cassettes or high-density modules and conventional ports on switches, panels or optical equipment.
The current configuration supports OS2, OM3, OM4 and OM5, 8, 12 or 24 fibers, several MPO ferrule counts and Type A, B or C polarity. Each fan-out leg must map to the correct MPO fiber position, so the harness drawing is part of the product specification.
Specify MPO fiber count, gender and keying; fiber type; breakout connector and polish; channel map; jacket; overall length; and leg length. Check whether the equipment ports are simplex or duplex and whether duplex clips are required.
Huijue Group can produce drawing-based OEM harnesses, customer channel labels and private-label packaging. Equipment or cassette samples can be reviewed for fit. Port mapping, loss grade, leg construction, test method and production quantity require final approval.
| Connector arrangement | MPO to LC / SC / FC / ST |
| Fiber type | OS2 / OM3 / OM4 / OM5 |
| Fiber count | 8 / 12 / 24 fibers; custom available |
| MPO interface | 8 / 12 / 16 / 24-fiber MPO available |
| Insertion loss | ≤0.35 dB standard / ≤0.20 dB low-loss option |
| Return loss | ≥50 dB UPC / ≥60 dB APC |
| Jacket | PVC / LSZH option |
| Polarity | Type A / Type B / Type C |
| Operating temperature | -20°C to +70°C |
The current record lists -20°C to 70°C operation. Support the fan-out transition, avoid pulling on individual legs and keep the MPO and discrete connector end faces clean.
Buyer Questions
Answers specific to MPO Breakout Harness Cable to LC/SC/FC/ST selection, configuration and purchasing.
A mixed fan-out can be reviewed from a detailed channel map, subject to leg spacing and equipment layout.
The approved MPO fiber-position map is checked against every labeled fan-out leg during production testing.
A trunk normally has MPO/MTP interfaces at both ends; a breakout harness converts an MPO end into individual connectors.
Use the deployment context to narrow the configuration before comparing dimensions, capacities and options.
Match splitter or WDM architecture to wavelength plan, ratio, package and insertion-loss targets.
Coordinate connector, polish, fiber grade, polarity and cable length across patching points.
Plan MPO/MTP trunks and harnesses around port mapping, breakout format and rack density.
Select splicing, cleaning and test tools for the connector types and measurements used on site.
Before quotation: confirm capacity, interfaces, installation environment, power conditions, quantity and required options.
