Pre-Terminated Outdoor Butterfly Drop Cable

Pre-Terminated Outdoor Butterfly Drop Cable

A factory-connectorized butterfly drop cable for outdoor access links, available with one or both ends terminated to reduce field connector assembly.

Product Features

  • Factory termination at one or both cable ends.
  • Compact butterfly profile for access-network routing.
  • High-carbon steel-wire strength member for tensile support.
  • Low-smoke, halogen-free sheath in the listed design.
  • UPC and APC performance values are defined by assembly length in the current table.

Pre-Terminated Outdoor Butterfly Drop Cable combines a compact drop-cable structure with factory-installed connectors at one or both ends. It is intended for the access segment where crews need a defined cable length and connector arrangement before arriving on site, reducing field termination work while retaining the familiar flat drop-cable format.

The current construction uses high-carbon steel-wire strength members and a bend-capable fiber reinforcement. Published optical limits vary with assembly length and connector polish, so the final link budget must use the ordered length and end configuration rather than one generic patch-cord value.

Selection & Configuration

Specify fiber grade and count, connector type and polish at each end, overall length, breakout length, pulling direction and the outdoor route conditions. Confirm whether the cable will be pulled through a duct, clipped to a façade or transitioned into an indoor pathway, because the installation method affects reinforcement and sheath review.

Manufacturing & Customization

Huijue Group can review OEM, private-label and drawing-based assemblies with project-specific length, connector mapping and packaging. A customer sample may be used to confirm the mating interface. Cable construction, connector performance, pull protection, test report scope, quantity and tooling remain subject to engineering approval.

Information for an Accurate Quotation

Applications

  • FTTH and FTTx subscriber drops
  • Outdoor-to-building access transitions
  • Pre-measured terminal-box connections
  • Fast replacement of field drop assemblies

Installation Notes

Route exposure, bend radius, pulling load, water entry and the indoor transition point must be reviewed for the actual site. Use sealing and mechanical protection appropriate to the enclosure and pathway; no enclosure protection rating is implied for the connectorized cable assembly.

Buyer Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers specific to Pre-Terminated Outdoor Butterfly Drop Cable selection, configuration and purchasing.

Can the cable be terminated at only one end?

Yes. The source describes one-end or two-end factory termination; specify which end must remain unterminated for pulling or splicing.

Does connector loss stay the same at every cable length?

The current performance table uses different limits by length, so the ordered assembly length and polish must be included in the review.

Can a sample connector be matched?

Huijue Group can review a customer sample or drawing, with final compatibility and production feasibility confirmed before manufacture.
