48-Core ODF Distribution Unit

48-Core ODF Distribution Unit

48-Core ODF Distribution Unit provides structured optical termination, splicing and patching with a listed capacity of 48 cores for equipment-room fiber management.

Product Features

The cold-rolled steel body measures 482 × 250 × 131 mm. Four 12-core trays, a lockable door and cable-fixing provisions are listed, with FC/SC/ST choices in the feature record.

The 48-Core ODF Distribution Unit groups four integrated trays in a rack-mounted enclosure. It provides a medium-sized splice and adapter handoff without making the operator manage loose cable-end fibers around neighboring rack equipment.

Selection & Configuration

Check vertical rack allocation using the mounting drawing and include connector access. Assign each cable group to a tray, then specify initial adapter and pigtail quantities independently from the forty-eight-core capacity.

Manufacturing & Customization

Huijue Group can review OEM four-tray ODF units, private labels and drawing/sample-based front panels. Tooling, bracket feasibility, optical and mechanical tests, quantities and delivery scope require confirmation.

Information for an Accurate Quotation

Send the 48-fiber group plan, rack arrangement, 6–18 mm cable schedule, adapters and port labels.

Installation Notes

Confirm the host cabinet environment and cable grounding; this record does not establish exposed-weather sealing.

Buyer Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers specific to 48-Core ODF Distribution Unit selection, configuration and purchasing.

Can fewer than forty-eight ports be populated initially?

Specify working and reserve positions. Confirm trays, blanks and pigtail population with the order.

Is 131 mm the complete rack allowance?

It is the listed body height. Mounting brackets and service clearance need verification from the installation drawing.

Can this replace a 24-core unit in the same opening?

Width and depth are similar in the records, but height and tray configuration differ. Check actual rack space and connections.

Application planning

Where this product family fits

Use the deployment context to narrow the configuration before comparing dimensions, capacities and options.

Central offices and equipment rooms

Organize high-capacity termination, cross-connection and patching with defined service access.

Street and building distribution

Place splitter, terminal and distribution boxes at the correct feeder-to-drop transition.

Outside-plant splice points

Protect branching and splicing around cable entries, sealing, tray capacity and mounting method.

Network expansion

Reserve fibers, ports and internal routing space for staged subscriber or backbone growth.

Before quotation: confirm capacity, interfaces, installation environment, power conditions, quantity and required options.
