PV DC Combiner Box

PV DC Combiner Box

Photovoltaic DC combiner box integrating string fuses, surge protection, isolation and optional monitoring for 100–1000 V DC systems.

Product Features

  • Optional 100–1000 V DC voltage range and 10–160 A current range.
  • String fuse, SPD and output circuit-breaker functions can be combined.
  • Per-string anti-reverse diodes and parameter acquisition are optional.
  • Fully sealed cable entry/exit glands and 180-degree door opening.
  • Galvanized metal construction with electrostatic powder finish.

The PV DC Combiner Box groups multiple photovoltaic string circuits into a managed DC output before the downstream converter or distribution stage. The configurable enclosure can combine string fuses, surge protective devices, a DC circuit breaker, optional anti-reverse diodes and electrical-parameter acquisition.

Available project ranges cover 100–1000 V DC and 10–160 A. Sealed cable glands, grounded metalwork and a powder-coated galvanized enclosure provide a practical field connection point, while left- or right-opening doors support different equipment layouts.

Selection & Configuration

Provide PV string open-circuit voltage at the lowest design temperature, operating current, string count and inverter/MPPT input limits. The fuse, SPD, isolation device, conductor size and polarity arrangement must be coordinated as one DC design. Monitoring channels and communications should be identified before the enclosure size is fixed.

Manufacturing & Customization

Huijue Group can evaluate OEM labeling, private-label packaging, string counts and fabrication from schematics or sample enclosures. Engineering confirms DC-layout feasibility, component ratings, gland tooling, verification tests, production quantity and supply responsibility for the proposed combiner assembly.

Information for an Accurate Quotation

  • String quantity, Voc/Isc and design-temperature data
  • System voltage, output current and downstream MPPT/inverter
  • Fuse, SPD, isolator and anti-reverse-diode requirements
  • Monitoring channels, communication and enclosure location

Technical Parameters

ConfigurationProject-specific; confirm requirements before quotation.

Applications

  • PV arrays serving hybrid telecom power systems
  • Remote solar base-station generation
  • Commercial and industrial PV DC collection
  • String-level monitored solar inputs

Installation Notes

Installation conditions determine the required enclosure protection, corrosion treatment and thermal design. State whether the box is outdoors, exposed to direct sun or installed in a protected cabinet; also provide cable approach and mounting method.

Buyer Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers specific to PV DC Combiner Box selection, configuration and purchasing.

How is the combiner-box voltage selected?

Use the maximum cold-condition string open-circuit voltage, not only nominal module voltage. It must remain within the selected 100–1000 V DC equipment rating and downstream converter limits.

Can each PV string be monitored?

Parameter acquisition can be configured, but the required channel count, measurements and communication method must be specified before design.

Can the string count and cable glands be customized?

Yes. Huijue Group can develop a drawing-based layout around string count and cable size after confirming electrical clearance, heat, devices and validation scope.
