PV AC Distribution Box

PV AC Distribution Box

AC photovoltaic grid-connection distribution box with metering, surge protection, isolation, status indication and optional RS485 monitoring.

Product Features

  • Multiple AC inverter-input circuits can be arranged in one box or cabinet.
  • Input and output circuit-breaker control with a visible grid isolation point.
  • Surge protective device on the AC input.
  • Meter compartment can provide for utility lead sealing.
  • Optional RS485 data connection and voltage-check reclosing.

The PV AC Distribution Box sits between one or more grid-tied inverter outputs and the facility or utility connection point. It organizes AC input circuits, output isolation, surge protection, energy metering and operating indication in one enclosure so the grid-connection boundary is clear and maintainable.

Configurations can include a lead-sealable meter position, islanding and over/undervoltage protection, an isolating switch with visible break, and optional voltage-check automatic reclosing. RS485 monitoring is available when the project requires the box to report into an energy or facility platform.

Selection & Configuration

Selection depends on inverter quantity, AC voltage, maximum current, grid-connection method and utility requirements. Provide each inverter output, cable size, fault level, metering arrangement and protection settings. Islanding and automatic-reclosing functions must follow the approved project protection philosophy rather than a generic default.

Manufacturing & Customization

Huijue Group can manufacture a PV AC distribution box from an approved single-line diagram and review private-label/OEM markings, meter windows and sample-based enclosure formats. Engineering confirms grid-interface feasibility, meter-window and panel tooling, components, routine tests, order volume and equipment/documentation delivery scope.

Information for an Accurate Quotation

  • Inverter count, output voltage/current and single-line diagram
  • Utility metering and lead-seal requirements
  • Protection, isolation and automatic-reclosing logic
  • RS485 point list, enclosure location and cable entry

Technical Parameters

ConfigurationProject-specific; confirm requirements before quotation.

Applications

  • Telecom-site photovoltaic AC connection
  • Commercial rooftop PV inverter aggregation
  • Hybrid energy cabinets with an external AC grid interface
  • Projects requiring local energy metering and status indication

Installation Notes

Specify indoor or outdoor location, ambient range, moisture/corrosion exposure and mounting method. Enclosure protection, SPD coordination, earthing and anti-islanding arrangements must be selected for the actual installation.

Buyer Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers specific to PV AC Distribution Box selection, configuration and purchasing.

Can several inverter outputs enter one PV AC distribution box?

Yes, multiple AC input circuits are configurable. Their breakers, busbar and enclosure must be sized from the individual and simultaneous inverter currents.

Is an energy meter included?

A lead-sealable meter arrangement can be provided. Confirm the utility-approved meter model, current-transformer requirement and ownership boundary.

Can Huijue Group build to our grid-connection drawing?

Yes, an approved drawing can form the basis for OEM production after protection logic, components, labels, testing and project quantity are agreed.
