Powered Fiber Optic Connector End-Face Cleaner

Powered Fiber Optic Connector End-Face Cleaner

An electric connector-cleaning tool with replaceable rods for 1.0, 1.25 and 2.5 mm fiber interfaces and field end-face maintenance.

Product Features

  • Powered rotation carries loosened contamination away from the fiber end face.
  • Replaceable rod system supports several ferrule and interface sizes.
  • Published rod life is up to 30 operations for 1.0 mm, 50 for 1.25 mm and 100 for 2.5 mm rods.
  • Rod replacement is designed for straightforward field servicing.
  • Multiple adapter heads allow the tool to be configured around the connector inventory.

This powered fiber optic connector end-face cleaner is designed to remove dry contamination from fiber connector end faces through a powered rotating cleaning action. Interchangeable rods address 1.0 mm interfaces on selected products, 1.25 mm LC and MU interfaces, and 2.5 mm FC, SC and ST interfaces, including UPC and APC connector formats where the matching rod is selected.

The tool is useful when a manual inspection-and-cleaning workflow identifies contamination that ordinary dry wiping does not remove. Connector geometry still matters: the correct rod and adapter head must be used, and the end face should be inspected before and after cleaning rather than cleaned repeatedly without verification.

Selection & Configuration

Specify the ferrule diameter, connector family, UPC or APC geometry, and whether the target is a plug, jack or recessed port. The documented operating range is -10°C to 40°C and storage range is -20°C to 40°C. Cleaning-life figures apply to the stated rods and should be treated as planning values, with actual replacement based on rod condition and procedure.

Manufacturing & Customization

For service programs, Huijue Group can review a private-label cleaning set with selected rods, adapter heads and consumable quantities. Sample-based interface checks and drawing-based holder or packaging work are possible only after engineering review; tooling, fit, test method and production quantity must be confirmed before manufacture.

Information for an Accurate Quotation

  • Connector families and ferrule sizes
  • UPC or APC end-face types
  • Plug, jack or recessed-port access
  • Required rods, adapter heads and spares
  • Label artwork, kit quantity and packaging

Applications

  • ODF, patch-panel and cabinet connector maintenance
  • Data-center and equipment-room port cleaning
  • FTTx field repair and commissioning
  • Production or repair-bench connector preparation

Installation Notes

Keep rods clean and protected between uses. Confirm that no liquid or abrasive process is required by the connector manufacturer, and never force an incorrectly sized adapter into a port. Operate only within the documented temperature range.

Buyer Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers specific to Powered Fiber Optic Connector End-Face Cleaner selection, configuration and purchasing.

Which connectors can the pen clean?

The current data lists 1.25 mm LC/MU and 2.5 mm FC/SC/ST interfaces, plus selected 1.0 mm products. The exact rod and adapter must be matched before use.

Can one rod be used for every connector?

No. Ferrule size, connector housing and access depth differ, so the appropriate replaceable rod and adapter head are required.

Can Huijue Group assemble a maintenance set around our ports?

Yes, the requested connector list or samples can be reviewed for a tailored set, but interface fit and final contents require confirmation.
