Outdoor Hybrid Fiber-and-Power Cable

Outdoor Hybrid Fiber-and-Power Cable

A combined optical-and-electrical cable with project-sized power conductors, selectable fibers and outdoor protection for remote powered communications equipment and coordinated site installation routes.

Product Features

  • Integrated fiber-and-power construction.
  • G.652D/G.657A single-mode or OM3/OM4 multimode selections.
  • Current optical range of 2–144 cores.
  • Power conductors configured for voltage, current, distance and permitted voltage drop.
  • PE jacket and an LSZH option.
  • Water, UV and mechanical protection selected for the intended route.

Outdoor Hybrid Fiber-and-Power Cable combines optical transmission and electrical supply conductors in one cable route. It can connect remote communications equipment while bringing the optical and power installation into one coordinated cable design.

The electrical section must be calculated from load, voltage and route distance. Fiber count does not determine conductor size, and a single cable route still needs suitable separation, termination and protection arrangements at both ends.

Selection & Configuration

Provide operating and peak load, supply voltage, distance and allowable voltage drop. Identify installation method, electrical protection and termination conditions before determining conductor cross-section. Review the optical route, armor, water blocking and equipment-end breakout at the same time.

The source includes an armored loose-tube hybrid construction. Confirm the exact cable cross-section rather than applying one structure to every project in the family.

Manufacturing & Customization

Huijue Group can review OEM hybrid cable and private-label identification using load schedules, cross-section drawings or reference samples. Electrical sizing, tooling, insulation and optical tests, production quantity and delivery scope require engineering agreement.

Buyer Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers specific to Outdoor Hybrid Fiber-and-Power Cable selection, configuration and purchasing.

Can conductor size be selected from equipment power alone?

No. Supply voltage, load current, route distance, permitted voltage drop, installation conditions and electrical requirements all affect the conductor design.

Is the optical section limited to single-mode fiber?

The current record includes single-mode and OM3/OM4 multimode options. Select the optical grade from the equipment and link requirements.

Does one cable eliminate separate end protection?

No. The optical and electrical breakouts, strain relief, protection and equipment terminations must be designed for the completed installation.
